On a splendid evening in Edinburgh, we hosted our much-anticipated re-brand launch event, marking our transformation to Care Support Scotland. The evening was filled with a gathering of supporters, the people we support, their families, and our sector partners, all of whom came together to celebrate this milestone occasion.
The success of this event was a culmination of a lot of hard work and dedication from our colleagues across the organisation. These individuals, who embody our core values of Respect, Compassion, and Thrive, played a pivotal role in bringing this new chapter to life. Their hard work and commitment reflect the heart and soul of Care Support Scotland.
The atmosphere was brimming with laughter and happiness. It was an excellent evening that not only celebrated our re-brand but also marked a significant milestone in our organisation’s transformative journey. This event stands as a testament to our achievements and the promising future we are building together.
This year, Care Support Scotland celebrates its 35th anniversary. The re-brand and transformation investments are designed to ensure that we continue our mission for another 35 years and beyond. The launch event was a beautiful representation of our past successes and our future aspirations.
Some highlights of the event included a performance by a chorus group comprised of individuals from our St Leonard’s older age care service in Edinburgh. They engaged the crowd in music, and brought a lot of energy into the room.
Additionally, we had the privilege of showcasing a short film created by Lucasz, one of our incredibly talented Support Workers from our Caltongate Learning Disability and Neurodiversity service. The film, which authentically narrated the stories of our staff and the people we support, was a moving tribute to the lives we touch and the profound impact of our work.
Care Support Scotland is proud to employ 240 dedicated staff, the majority of whom are engaged in social care delivery roles across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Our team is the backbone of our organisation, and their passion and dedication are what drive us forward. We have ambitious plans to grow our workforce to 300 by the end of the financial year, and are committed to expanding our reach and enhancing our services.
The re-brand launch event was more than just a celebration; it was a reaffirmation of our commitment to providing exceptional care and support. As we embark on this new journey, we remain steadfast in our mission to make a positive difference in the lives of the people we support.
