We are excited to offer a brand-new opportunity to shape the future of adult social care. As part of our two-year transformation and ambitious five-year strategy, we’re recruiting a Learning and Practice Development Officer to play a pivotal role in nurturing talent and driving high performance across our services.
You’ll be at the heart of our newly launched Learning & Development Framework, supporting over 260 staff with tailored training, innovative learning approaches, and reflective practice. As a key member of our Developments Team, you’ll ensure our workforce is equipped to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
- Coordinate and facilitate face-to-face and online training across services
- Develop engaging, trauma-informed, person-centred learning content
- Administer and continuously improve the organisation’s training plans
- Lead on learning evaluation, training records, and quality compliance
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning and collaboration
- Enthusiastic, self-directed professional with a passion for developing others
- Experience delivering training in adult social care (or related field)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A confident facilitator, comfortable guiding others through complex information
- Emotionally intelligent, values-led, and excited by doing things differently
- Able to travel across our services – a car and driving licence is essential
