A Brief Introduction to Polton Centre

Polton is set within quiet, peaceful grounds, with outdoor space and activity a central element of living and work here.

The service primarily works with adults over the age of 25, who are usually in employment, education or training. Whilst people living at Polton will require support, the support is lower level and focused on the areas of recovery and preparation for independent living.

Polton Centre usually works with Adults over the age of 25. The service can support people who have a range of support needs. Usually, people who stay at Polton are in Employment, Education or Training. The service works to support people in preparing for independent living.

What it’s like at Polton Centre

Our staff team is led day to day by a Senior Support Worker and 6 Support Workers. Our team work a variety of shifts to provide care and support throughout the week.

Polton is set on beautiful grounds and is known for being a very calm and peaceful place to stay and work. There is an allotment where people can plant and learning gardening, and can spend time outdoors building relationships with others.

Polton also has a furniture store and receives donations from the local community. This furniture store supports people in furnishing their new permanent home when they leave Polton.
