Living and Working at East Craigs

Our staff team of 30 work a variety of shifts to provide 24/7 independent living support throughout the week. Day-to-day, they’re led by a Team Leader and two Senior Support Workers.

East Craigs is a long-established service – celebrating 30 years next year – sitting at the top of the East Craigs area of Corstorphine. The service has a mixture of one- and two- bedroom flats and houses spread across the development.

It provides learning disability and neurodiversity support to a community of people from various backgrounds, who all receive person-centred support from our diverse staff team. They work hard to maximise independence and support community engagement, giving people the chance to take part in activities that help them thrive.

Activities for residents include a weekend breakfast club and organised outings. As well as being fun, these also promote relationship-building and mental wellbeing – important aspects of independent living.
