David has over 30 years experience in senior Information Technology Management roles working mainly in the Property, Travel and Hospitality areas with a range of companies throughout the UK and Europe. He has played a key role in multiple business transformation projects, building and mentoring teams, developing Business Intelligence and supervising data management and governance. In the Public Sector, David has served as an Independent Director of South Bradford Community Housing Trust in the run up to the transfer of Bradford Council’s housing stock to Registered Social Landlords and was member of the Finance Committee. He is keen to use his experience to support the activities of Care Support Scotland and promote innovative, technological solutions to enable people to feel safe, grow and thrive.
Outside of work, David lives on the coast, enjoys walking the family dog on the beach, is a bit of a foodie and has recently re-discovered the bass guitar and is learning to play the drums.
